I cut into the blue fabric in a random design at the bottom, and began to do needle turn appliqué.
It went fast--a rare occurrence for me.
And so it grew...
Yes, it's finished.
Guess I better wear it while the weather is still beautiful.
It's sunny and in the 70°s and 80°s.

This turned out beautiful! I love Alabama Chanin's work but the beautiful blue you used actually inspires me to want to try some myself!
Well that's just incredible! Have a great weekend. Hugs.
Wow! You are amazing. That is beautiful!!!
Beyond wonderful!!!!
Ahhhhh Nadia, that looks so GREAT (on you ;-) ...!)
You did it again ;-)
I must say I never repeated it after that first "boro"
jacket I made ..... it is a hell of a job ! I KNOW !
You are a wonder, and so is that vesty tunic!!
So nice to see you in your beautiful creation standing in the sunlight far away. I thought of you when the Nobel awards went to the man credited as a hero in Tunesia...I meant to save that post from NPR to send you but it got lost.
What a beautiful sulotion to deal with a spot! Did you sew it by hand or machine.
That looks great Nadja! (You too :-) ) It must be a lot of work, you did a great job. Doris
That blue is a wonderful addition to the vest. My luck would be that with all the cutting away I'd end up with the spot exposed that I'd started out to cover up!
Beautiful. beautiful. I still don't quite understand how you do it, but your results are always amazing.
Such a lovely finish, maybe you shouldn't wear an apron at all, that will leave you with plenty of creative projects and a very original and wearable wardrobe
A great solution to cover up spots and beautifully done. I have not tried needle turn applique but certainly want to give it a try now.
this is so beautiful--gorgeous work--we're having the last days of Summer here, too...getting chillier though each day...hugs Julierose
love your wild sense of line and colour and it looks great on!
I certainly like your spot solution! Another garment you will receive lots of compliments on.
It's very pretty and unique. I'm quite amazed at how you did it.
